The Lomita Youth Council, formed in January 2006, is dedicated to providing the youth of Lomita with jobs, careers and educational opportunities. It is composed of members representing Lomita youth, local government, education, non-profit organizations, and private business.
The Lomita Youth Council is an affiliate of the Carson / Lomita / Torrance Workforce Investment Network.
