 The Lomita Youth Council is proud to have Albertsons, one of Lomita’s largest businesses, as a member. It is important to Albertsons to be actively involved in the community of Lomita. Albertsons and the Lomita Youth Council are working together to provide quality entry-level jobs to the youth of Lomita. These jobs offer not only welcome cash to youth, but valuable work experience and the opportunity for advancement in a very large corporation.The Lomita Youth Council is also very grateful to Albertsons for its donations of food and refreshments for the Youth Council meetings and also for the youth who attend our new “Lomita Teen Night” events presented through Lomita Parks and Recreation. A special thanks and welcome goes out to our new Lomita Albertsons Store Director, Steve Uhrinak who has just joined us here in Lomita! |
