Isaac Black

Isaac Black is sixteen years old and has lived with his family in Lomita for eight years. He will be attending tenth grade at Narbonne High School this coming school year, where he will be continuing to play outside linebacker for his school’s football team. He is eagerly looking forward to a trip to Hawaii with the team this September!

Isaac works with the Lomita Parks and Recreation Department with their basketball program and is currently seeking even more hours of work with Lomita Parks and Recreation.

Isaac is also a Los Angeles County Fire Department “Explorer” and is in the process of obtaining his certification so that he can participate in “ride-alongs” with the fire department to actual emergency scenes.

He enjoys his school studies, especially his math, science and elective courses. After graduation from high school he plans to attend college, hopefully on a football scholarship to a west coast college. At present, he is planning to study business-related courses in college, and after college he plans to become a fireman for the Los Angeles County Fire Department. After serving the Fire Department he would like to start his own business.

Isaac is one of the founding members of the Lomita Youth Council. At present he is one of three Lomita youth on the Youth Council and he has attended every meeting and fully participates; he is a critical part of making the Lomita Youth Council what it is! We are very happy and proud to have Isaac as a member of the Lomita Youth Council!
